Photography
Schedule
We'll be a team of two: I'll handle photography while my colleague takes care of video. We'll start at 12:00 PM when the makeup artists arrive, and we'll be with you until the cake cutting.
Getting Ready — You
I'll begin with you, taking some relaxed photos and videos while you're getting your makeup done. Once that's finished, I'll step out to give you privacy while you put on your dress. When you're ready, we'll do some posed shots — just you, then with your bridesmaids, and with any family members who are there.
Getting Ready — The Groom
While you're getting dressed, I'll head over to your future husband for some shots. It would be great if he's already in trousers and shirt so I can capture him putting on his jacket, cufflinks, and all that. After he's fully dressed, I'll take some posed photos and videos of him too.
The Ceremony
During the ceremony, I won't interrupt or call for your attention — I'll just capture everything as it happens, nice and natural. At the end, we can take a few minutes for some family photos near the ceremony table.
Couple Photos
After the ceremony, we'll sneak away for some couple shots — and if you want, the bridesmaids can join us for some group photos too. I'll check out Tenuta dei Normanni beforehand to find the best spots, though honestly, a short walk to the beautiful places nearby might be worth it! This will take about an hour. I know tradition here says the newlyweds have to open the buffet, so I'll be as quick as I can!
Aperitivo & Photobooth
During the cocktail hour, I'll set up a fun photo backdrop in a corner with carnival masks and silly props for your guests. I'll print these photos during the evening (4×6 inches) and put them on a nice themed card as a little gift for everyone. With your guest count, I'm offering up to 150 prints. This is my personal gift to you — I just enjoy doing it!
Reception
Once we're inside the restaurant, I'll keep shooting reportage style until the cake cutting — then we can all finally relax!
Wedding Recap Video
I'd love to put together a summary video of the day (from getting ready to the photos after the ceremony) to show during dinner. This would be a personal gift from me.
But here's the thing — I need to be honest with you. If I'm focused on taking photos, I can't be filming video at the same time. And for me, the photographs are the priority. They're what you'll look at for years to come, what you'll hang on your walls, what you'll show your kids. I want them to be exactly right, done my way, with no compromises.
So the video is a bit uncertain right now. If I can find a colleague photographer whose style I trust, I'll bring them along to handle the video and we might even project a short clip at the restaurant. I'll let you know as soon as I figure it out!
Staff Meals
One more thing: the staff meal can be simpler and different from yours if it helps save some money at the restaurant. Around here, the hosts usually offer lunch to the working staff, even though eating isn't exactly why I'm there! Do whatever works best for you.
